Imagine the fulfilment of ascending the magnificent peaks of Snowdonia, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, knowing that every step you take brings you closer to the hearts of these orphans. It is an opportunity to challenge yourself, to push beyond your limits, and to experience the profound joy that comes from selflessly giving to others.

Please keep in mind that all volunteer costs, including travel, accommodation, and equipment, will be borne individually. We deeply appreciate your understanding and willingness to support our cause.

Rest assured, we will provide comprehensive guidance, safety measures, and unwavering support throughout the entire journey. Together, we will conquer the mountains and conquer the hearts of those in need, leaving an everlasting impact.

We invite you to be a part of this extraordinary movement of compassion and transformation. Join us as we rise above the challenges and reach new heights of empathy and solidarity.

Let us embody the true spirit of our faith and become the catalysts of positive change. Together, we can bring smiles to the faces of these orphaned children, inspiring hope and brightening their futures.

    What is Zakat in Islam?

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam and duty necessary for those possessing more than the Nisab value. Every year 2.5% is contributed as Zakat. By giving extra savings, one learns to place only a little possession.

    Benefits of Zakat

Zakat provides an opportunity to share our excess wealth with those who are less fortunate. It is also believed that giving Zakat once wealth is purified. Through the payment of Zakat, the rich share their wealth with the poor; thus, the concentration of wealth is checked, and fair distribution is ensured, which helps eliminate poverty. The main benefit of Zakat is that it helps purify one’s heart and soul. It also allows one to become more charitable and to help those in need. Additionally, Zakat can serve to promote social cohesion and reduce income inequality.

    How is Zakat spent?

The money collected as Zakat is used for the welfare of the poor, needy, orphans and widows, and others eligible for Zakat.

What is the difference between Zakat and Fitrah?

Zakat is a compulsory giving, whereas fitrah is voluntary. Zakat is a way to purify wealth. Fitrah is a way to purify oneself. Zakat is given to the poor, needy, and needy persons.

What is Zakat Fitrah used for?

Zakat Fitrah is a charity paid for by Muslims at the end of the month of Ramadan, or at least during the month of Ramadan. The money is used to help the poor and needy who are struggling to make ends meet, and to help those who are fasting to pay for their food.

    Who is eligible for Zakat?

Zakat is a compulsory duty for all Muslims. It is payable based on the value of a person’s assets and is payable annually. It is calculated at 2.5% of the value of a person’s eligible assets, which include money, gold and silver, stocks and shares, and agricultural produce.

    How is Zakat calculated?

Zakat is calculated at 2.5% of the value of a person’s eligible assets, which include money, gold and silver, stocks and shares, and agricultural produce. It is payable based on the value of a person’s assets and is payable annually.

What is the minimum amount for Zakat?

The minimum amount of wealth Zakat is payable is known as the Nisab. The Nisab is calculated according to the value of gold and silver.

In summary, the essence of Zakat is to eliminate poverty.

    What is Qurbani?

Qurbani, also known as Udhiyah, is the Islamic practice of sacrifice. The word “Qurbani” comes from the Arabic word “Qurban”, which means “to sacrifice”. Qurbani is performed during the Islamic festival of Eid al-Adha. It is a Sunnah (recommended practice) of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). During Eid al-Adha, Muslims worldwide slaughter an animal (usually a sheep, goat, cow or camel) and share the meat with their family, friends and the poor. The animal must be healthy and of a certain age. The meat is divided into three parts: one for the family, one for friends and one for the poor. Qurbani is a way for Muslims to remember the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). It is also a way to show thankfulness to Allah for His blessings.

It is a way of showing gratitude to Allah, and it is also an act of charity. Qurbani helps provide food for the needy and hungry and is a way of sharing Eid’s blessings with those less fortunate.

    How to do Qurbani?

A professional butcher usually carries out Qurbani. The animal to be sacrificed is then brought to the butcher, who will then slaughter it under Islamic law. The meat from the animal is then distributed to the poor and needy.

    Benefits of Qurbani

Qurbani has many benefits. It is an act of worship that helps to strengthen one’s faith. Qurbani also helps provide food for the needy and hungry, and it is a way of sharing Eid’s blessings with those less fortunate.

And whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah’s Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers. (Quran 34:39)

And they give food, despite their love for it (or for the love of Him), to the Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive, (Saying): “We feed you seeking Allah’s Countenance only. We wish for no reward nor thanks from you. (Quran 76:8-9)

It helps build a sense of community and solidarity among those observing Qurbani.

What are the guidelines for Qurbani? Some guidelines should be followed when carrying out Qurbani:

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
