About Sadhaqa
Sadhaqa is a charity mainly relying on the funding provided as Sadaqah by the public and Muslims around the world.

Sadhaqa has been upbringing people’s lives for over three years, relieving people from poverty and hunger & providing humanitarian reassurance.
Initially started in 2018 to support any needy across the globe. Sadhaqa’s primary focus is to be a charity with the highest transparency whilst utilizing all funds on humanitarian aid instead of administration costs. Therefore, every single penny you donate is to be allocated directly to poverty stricken communities.
During the early stage of our work, we started with our friends, family, neighbors and known circles by empowering rural communities. Supporting their daily water needs, uplifting educations, livelihood support, and socioeconomic developments are the initial phases of our works.
We have active volunteer networks in the United Kingdom, Uganda and Sri Lanka that support our cause.

Our Mission
Sadhaqa builds relationships with philanthropist contributors worldwide and aims to provide charity to people in need whilst transparent across all the projects we undertake.
Real Charity
We ensure the safety of your donation. We try to be 100% transparent in collecting and utilizing the funds on projects.
In 2021 we raised £70,000 and benefitted over 6,000 people. 90p directly goes to the needy for every £1 you donate. 5p goes for administration costs, and 5p goes to raise more funds. We provide complete expense history on the projects for donors upon request. You also have the chance to speak to the beneficiaries to verify that your donations have reached the needy safely.
We do not own an office, so our Administration cost is minimal. Administration costs cover workers’ payments, volunteer expenses, auditing costs, transport costs, staff support, etc. Whilst our fundraising costs covers stall charges, digital media campaign charges, charges to fundraising events and etc.
We believe in transparency and authenticity, as what you give us is Sadaqah directed towards the needy. So, we try to maintain minimal costs and take 100% responsibility on your funds.
Volunteers
Join the Sadhaqa family and let’s make a difference in people’s lives! We have a active volunteer network that works to bring positive impact on people’s lives in the UK, Uganda and Sri Lanka. Our volunteers support us in managing the charity, administering the charity, legal consultations, accountancy support, field works, organizing local events and social media advocate.
We will be glad to have you on board! You can get involved in your favourite field and boom your skills, whether you want to take it easy and start slow or get stuck right in we always have something to do.
